Dutch Water Experts in worldwide Flood Team
Sunset Boulevard reopened Monday, six days after a water main break created a massive sinkhole in Westwood and flooded parts of UCLA’s campus
Dutch Flood Experts will join an international flood crisis team during flood disasters.
This special stuffed facility can provide quick and efficient help during the first phase after a major disaster.
They will give flood advices to bring people to safety.

The Minister: “It is important to act quick to save lives. Dutch experts have a lot of knowledge and expertise in water and that expertise we will offer all over the world. The expert team has been working together since January 2015. Already in 2014, a Dutch Water Team was sent to Serbia during the floods.
Guickly on the spot
It’s important to get experts quickly on the spot. In a perfect situation even before the floods come in. But this Dutch Surge Support will act immediately after a request from relief organizations.
The Minister: “We offer a central desk to ask for help. This way the lines are short and more people will be saved. In many cases – like earthquakes, the drinking water must be re-established quickly. So this water experts are also familiair to earthquakes.
The Netherlands can give their expertise at all stages during a disaster.
