Africa Road & Bridge Forum

January 30, 2017 - January 31, 2017

Free – US $2
Africa Road & Bridge Forum

Discuss designs, constructions, maintenance and safe operation of Africa’s road network.

Join the Africa Road & Bridge Forum this 30-31 January 2017 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Organized by IRF Geneva Program Centre, in partnership with IQPC.

Driving development and best practice methods of design, construction, maintenance and safe operation of Africa’s road network.

The goal is to discuss these issues and to find solutions to engineer and maintain more sustainable, cost-effective and safe road networks with government authorities, development banks and relevant industry stakeholders.

Road transportation plays an increasingly important role in the economic development of the region. With pressing needs to expand existing networks to keep pace with economic needs coupled with the burden of maintenance, financing gaps and the desperate need to address road safety across the continent, this meeting could not come at a better time.

 Africa Road & Bridge

With regional transport authorities aligning their priorities to develop and maintain infrastructure to support economic growth, coupled with our collective commitment to the UN Decade of Action, this meeting could not come at a better time as we set our plans for 2017.
